Two Cap Colors
The Ripper Cap is available in Black and Red. Compatibility Requirements
The Ripper Cap is designed for top-load tank openings. For proper operation, the target tank inlet must be at least 1.5 inches in diameter, the jug must be held in a straight, upright position during dispensing, and the ventilation line must be properly installed. Tank inlets smaller than 1.5 inches, tank inlets with obstructions such as filters, and side-load tank configurations are not compatible with the standard Ripper Cap configuration. For smaller or shallow tank inlets, adapters including the KTM Adapter and the ADAP Adapter are available separately to extend Ripper Cap compatibility to a wider range of equipment.
Current and Previous Jug Models
The Ripper Cap is available for both current and previous Tuff Jug container models. The current model jug accessories are not cross-compatible with previous model jugs. When ordering, select the correct jug model option to ensure the Ripper Cap you receive is properly fitted to your specific container generation. When to Replace Your Ripper Cap
Service Parts Available
The Ripper Cap’s internal seals can be refreshed using the Tuff Jug Ripper Cap Seal Kit, available separately. For operators running methanol or high-octane fuels, the High Performance O-Ring Kit is also available as an alternative seal replacement for extended chemical compatibility. Maintaining fresh seals in the Ripper Cap ensures consistent performance and extends the usable life of the cap significantly.
