Remove the plug, install a Tuff Jug Auto Stop Spout (sold separately), and transform the Storage Cap from a basic storage solution into a fully functional, auto-stop equipped fueling cap. Remove the NPT plug, install the Auto Stop Spout, and the Storage Cap transitions from a passive storage seal to an active, auto-stop equipped fueling system in seconds. This design means a container equipped with a Storage Cap does not need to be reconfigured with an entirely different cap to switch from storage to dispensing duty. The Storage Cap handles both roles in the same physical assembly.
